TOOTH RESTORATION

Crowns, bridges, fillings and dentures

Sometimes teeth do get damaged as the result of an accident or dental disease, but we are here to restore the function and appearance of your teeth with crowns, bridges, fillings and dentures, taking you through the process to find the right solution for you.

DENTAL CARE DESIGNED FOR YOU

Making a plan to suit your needs, together

Dental fillings are the most common form of tooth repair, used to ‘fill in’ areas of damage or decay, usually resulting from cavities. There are different types of filling, but we use options that are designed to match the colour of your teeth.
For those with a cracked, chipped, or broken tooth, crowns are often recommended, fitting over your natural tooth and bonded in place to restore its appearance and protect it from further damage.
If you have experienced tooth loss, bridges are a popular solution for restoring appearance and function, as well as preserving the health of your remaining teeth, your jaw and your gums. They consist of crowns placed on the natural teeth either side of the gap, and artificial teeth in the middle.
For anyone who has experienced multiple tooth loss, sometimes dentures are the best option. They are removable devices that fit snugly over the gums and can be used to replace full or partial areas of tooth loss.
Whatever your experience and whatever your preference, we will work with you to make a plan to suit your needs.

We’re here to help

We understand that you may have queries before visiting us and we have aimed to answer some of the most frequently asked questions here. If you have anything else you would like to talk about however, please do not hesitate to call us – our team is always happy to help.
Your tooth restoration treatment will not hurt.
How long your crowns, bridges, fillings and dentures last depends heavily on how well you care for them. However, when properly maintained, fillings can last more than 20 years, crowns and bridges the same, and dentures can need replacing after seven to 10 years due to changes in the shape of your mouth.
The cost of tooth restoration treatment varies depending on your individual needs – the extent of the issue as well as how many teeth are affected. You can see a full list of our fees at Ivy Dental on our fees and membership page. If you have an Ivy Dental membership then you receive a discount on all treatments up to 10%.
While the full cost of your treatment is not covered under your Ivy Dental membership, it does include a discount on all treatments up to 10%, including implants.
